Description

This month’s session will explore the integration of EMDR and Constructed Awareness (CA). The conversation will focus on how CA principles and building blocks can support EMDR Phases 1 and 2, with an emphasis on identifying client orientation and applying awareness-based resourcing within EMDR preparation.

Event Structure

  • Frequency: Monthly (First Friday at 12:00 PM EST)

  • Duration: 60 minutes

Facilitator

Led by Tyler Orr, LPC, NCC, creator of CA.

This time, Tyler will be joined by Ann Simmons, LCSW, CCAC.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this event, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the three core principles of Constructed Awareness.

  2. Identify client orientation, according to CA orientation theory, to enhance EMDR Phase 1.

  3. Apply CA resources for each building block to EMDR Phase 2.
