Course Description

The Constructed Awareness® Level 3: Advanced Trauma Processing in Practice training is a comprehensive four-day workshop designed to equip mental health professionals with advanced trauma therapy techniques using the Constructed Awareness® (CA) model. This advanced training builds upon knowledge from Levels 1 and 2, guiding therapists in integrating CA resources and interventions into a cohesive therapy style called Responsive Processing, where trauma processing arises naturally within sessions. This course is ideal for experienced mental health professionals who want to deepen their skills in trauma therapy, apply CA principles in complex cases, and master approaches for integrating trauma processing into practice.

Prerequisite: Completion of Constructed Awareness® Levels 1 and 2 is required to attend this training.

In this training, you will

Engage in Responsive Trauma Processing methods that support the natural emergence of trauma responses during therapy while maintaining flexibility and presence.

  • Deepen your understanding of single-event trauma, developmental trauma, and complex trauma, and learn to differentiate between them in clinical practice.

  • Discover how client orientation, including mental, sensation, and external styles, affects trauma processing and understand how clients with fixed or fragmented orientations may respond.

  • Gain insights into integrating polyvagal theory to address sympathetic and parasympathetic responses and trauma-related reactions, including fight, flight, freeze, and dissociation.

  • Apply CA theory, resources, and trauma processing techniques to real-world cases, integrating them into a cohesive therapeutic approach.

Interactive Training Format

This training is a live webinar conducted via Zoom, offering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Over four days (spanning two weekends), participants engage in
