Training Overview
Constructed Awareness® Level Two: Reconstructing Traumatic Memories builds upon the foundational principles and practices introduced in Level One, inviting clinicians into a deeper exploration of trauma processing, memory reconstruction, and attachment experiences.
This intermediate-level training introduces a structured, awareness-based approach to processing traumatic memories informed by memory reconsolidation research. Clinicians explore how earlier life experiences may contribute to present symptoms and how bringing awareness to thoughts, bodily sensations, and external senses can support the processing of developmental and single-event trauma.
Through instruction, demonstrations, experiential practice, and personal exploration, participants deepen their understanding of how clients' orientation styles may influence their responses during processing.
Level Two offers opportunities to deepen both clinical understanding and personal awareness as participants develop greater familiarity with the process of reconstructing traumatic memories.
