CA Certification Program

Deepening Your Practice with Constructed Awareness®

The CA Certification Program offers clinicians who have completed Levels One and Two an opportunity to deepen their understanding and integration of Constructed Awareness® through ongoing consultation, shared reflection, continued training, and professional contribution.

The certification process supports clinicians in bringing greater awareness, presence, and responsiveness into their clinical work while continuing to develop their relationship with the principles and practices of CA.

Upon successful completion of the program requirements, participants become Certified Constructed Awareness Clinicians (CCAC).

Certification Requirements

To complete the CA Certification Program, participants will:

  • Have completed CA Level One and Level Two training before enrolling

  • Complete 12 hours of CA consultation

  • Audit and assist with an additional CA Level One training

  • Audit and assist with an additional CA Level Two training

  • Participate in a CA-related project

Consultation

Consultation offers an ongoing space to explore how Constructed Awareness® is unfolding within your clinical practice.

Participants engage in 12 one-hour consultation sessions, generally scheduled every other week over approximately six months. Sessions take place online via Zoom with Tyler Orr, PhD, LPC-MHSP, and two consultees.

Consultation includes opportunities for clinical discussion, personal reflection, experiential learning, and continued exploration of CA.

Participants may indicate whether they already have a consultation partner in mind during registration. If a partner is needed, we will assist with coordinating the consultation pairing.

Please allow time for consultation partners and schedules to be coordinated before sessions begin.

Auditing and Assisting

Revisiting Levels One and Two offers an opportunity to encounter familiar material from a new place in your learning.

As an auditor, you will participate in the training experience with a deeper familiarity with CA. During practicum portions, you will also have opportunities to observe and offer feedback as newer clinicians begin exploring the approach.

CA Project

As part of the certification process, participants complete a project that contributes to the continued development and sharing of Constructed Awareness®.

Projects may involve research, writing, educational resources, consultation opportunities, or other forms of professional contribution. Project ideas can be discussed with Tyler as the certification process unfolds.

Payment Plan — Six payments of $175

Your installment schedule will be coordinated in connection with the beginning of your consultation sessions.

Completing checkout registers your interest in beginning the certification process. Consultation scheduling will follow once arrangements are confirmed.
